Skwids is back and better than ever with a brand-new app experience, releasing in Summer 2025! We’re thrilled to introduce an upgraded, mobile-friendly version of Skwids, designed to provide an engaging, interactive, and seamless learning journey for preschool through first-grade students.
Why the Big Upgrade?
To ensure the best experience for young learners, we’re saying goodbye to our website format and going all-in on mobile. This means children can now enjoy Skwids anytime, anywhere, with an intuitive app experience designed specifically for tablets and mobile devices. According to Janet Sweet, Director of Product Development, “Little learners will love learning along with our fully animated new characters, and parents will love seeing proof of that learning—not just proof of completion like other apps!”
Exciting New Features Kids Will Love!
The new Skwids app takes learning to the next level with engaging learning paths that track progress, ensuring kids explore math, reading, science, and social studies in a structured yet fun way. Content is intentionally crafted for preschool through first-grade learners, making sure it meets their educational needs while keeping them entertained.
Parents will appreciate the enhanced dashboard, allowing them to easily track their child’s progress and see real proof of learning in real-time. Meanwhile, kids will love the brand-new animated Skwids characters and videos that bring learning to life. Harlie Busbee, Product Design Manager, adds, “The fun doesn’t have to stop with the lessons! Hop on over to Dress-Up and interact with the characters directly by buying them costumes, backgrounds, and fun little items. Mix and match and watch the characters come to life!”
